LEARN HOW TO INVEST WITH FANEQT

  • Sport asset fractionalization is the process of securitizing a sports stadium or team into shares that you can purchase.

  • The valuation of sports assets has ballooned in recent years and show no sign of slowing down. By purchasing a share you own an equity stake in the sports stadium or team and can share in the financial appreciation of the asset. Not to mention, you can receive unrivaled Fan Investor benefits.

  • Fan Investor benefits differ for each offering. However, these could include lifetime season tickets, VIP experiences, cash distributions, and more. Check the offering page for information on what benefits you will receive.

  • Yes. All shares are sold through the private placement of securities under Regulation D and Regulation A+ of the Securities Act. Each sports asset owner works with regulated securities partners to ensure this process is conducted correctly. Please review all offering materials prior to investing and our disclaimer.

  • Depending on the structure of the deal, you may be purchasing a direct stake in the holding company that owns the professional sports team or stadium. In an SPV deal, you will own a share in an acquisition company that will purchase the direct stake in the holding company. The structure of the deal is explained on the offering site.

  • The taxation of your fan investment depends on various factors, including your country's tax laws and the type of campaign you participate in.

In the United States, you may be subject to capital gains tax upon sale or disposition of the asset and a tax on any dividends received. You will be provided with the necessary tax documents (such as a K-1 or 1099-DIV form) on an annual basis.

This is not tax advice. Please consult with a tax professional to understand your specific tax implications and ensure compliance with local regulations.

  • This depends on the structure of the specific deal you are interested in.

  • We are working to develop a secondary trading marketplace where fans can buy, sell, and trade their ownership stakes. Stay tuned for updates as we build this out with an SEC-regulated Alternative Trading System.

  • We are the first company to support the fractionalization of sports assets. You can be a part of history in the making!

However, there are other sites that fractionalize alternative assets, including artwork, cars, wine, and more.

  • For teams that are unable to provide equity ownership, we offer two other options including a debenture and a sponsorship
